Challenge
Implement telecommunications and security infrastructure in a high-altitude mining environment with extreme weather conditions and world-class safety requirements.
Solution
We designed and installed a redundant voice and data network with fiber optics, a CCTV system with intelligent analytics for operations monitoring, and biometric access control for all restricted project areas.
Results
The project reached the milestone of 2 million incident-free hours, earning us the Safety Star recognition. The communications infrastructure operates at 99.9% availability.
